Walgreens said it will continue to fill Medicaid prescriptions at its Washington state pharmacies through March 15 as it continues to negotiate with officials over a reimbursement dispute.
Just like it did last year in Delaware, Walgreens has announced it will withdraw some of its pharmacies from the Medicaid program in Washington state this year in response to a reduction in reimbursement rates.
Just before it was set to stop participating in the state’s Medicaid program, Walgreens announced it would restart negotiations with Delaware officials over reimbursement rates for prescriptions.
