The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of Virginia & D.C. will hold its 75th Annual Convention & Trade Fair June 26-28 at Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va.

Facing an estimated $1.5 billion budget shortfall for the current fiscal year, Virginia legislators are seeking solutions to get the state out of the red, but don’t appear to be going the same route as their peers in Connecticut.

Like many states, Maryland faces a multi-billion dollar budget shortfall for the current fiscal year, but legislators don’t appear to be closing that gap in the same manner as their counterparts in Connecticut.

A new service to help agents pay for needed continuing education programs was recently unveiled by the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Virginia and DC (PIAVA/DC) and its carrier partners.

The Professional Insurance Agents of Virginia and the District of Columbia have scheduled its fall conference for Oct. 11 and 12 at the Hospitality House in Fredericksburg, Va.

“Don’t gamble with your future; Win with PIA” is the theme of this year’s annual convention sponsored by the Professional Insurance Agents of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
