Stuart will talk about the stroke he had at age 38 (He's now 40) and how he was thankful he had already bought LTC, DI and Life insurance on himself. 2010 IIAV Annual Convention

The IIAV 2010 Annual Convention will be held at The Virginia Beach Hilton from June 20th through June 23. The keynote speaker, Monday morning June 21st, will be Michael Crowley, President - Specialty Division, Markel Corporation. That afternoon there will be a golf tournament at the Broad Bay Country Club. The annual Trade Show will take place Tuesday June 2nd from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. On Wednesday morning June 23rd there will be breakout sessions on healthcare reform (Roy Ramthun), agency valuation (Francis "Skip Hagerty) and agency privacy requirements (Doug Palais). There will also be ample time and opportunity to enjoy the sand, sun, ocean, food plus network with your peers and other insurance industry professionals.

IIAV 2010 Annual Convention & Exhibition

It’s convention time again!!! This year we will be meeting at The Virginia Beach Hilton from June 20 through June 23. Registration begins at noon on Sunday, June 20. The first event will be a post-dinner reception Sunday evening. Our keynote speaker on Monday morning will be F. Michael Crowley, president of Markel Specialty. There will be golf at Broad Bay Country Club Monday afternoon; the trade show is on Tuesday; Wednesday features morning breakout sessions on health care reform, agency valuation and agency information privacy requirements. Also, there will be plenty of opportunities for continuing education.
Monday evening the Young Agents will sponsor a trip to the local ballpark (Tidewater Tides). On Tuesday evening there will be a “networking” buffet within The Hilton, where you will have an opportunity to make new friends and catch up with old ones. Of course, Wednesday evening will feature our annual awards banquet and entertainment.
